We are currently looking for postdocs with experience in quantum information science (in particular, on quantum approximation theory/Hamiltonian complexity theory)  and/or many-body physics (ideally with a background on tensor networks). There are attractive funding possibilities through the Simons Society of Fellows at the Simons Foundation. European postdocs can also apply to the Marie Curie Global Fellowship. Application deadlines for both of these fellowships are typically in early fall.

There are positions available for prospective or current graduate students. Don’t hesitate to write an email if you are interested in more details or if you have questions! To join our group, you have to first be admitted into a Columbia graduate program. You can find how to apply to the physics PhD program here. We also welcome students from the applied physics program.
