Eric Sierra

I was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. I completed a double bachelor degree in Mathematics and Engineering Physics at “Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya” in October of 2021, as part of the CFIS center. I have always loved problem-solving, including getting medals at Spanish Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Programming and completing the International Baccalaureate Program (IB) as part of the Scholarship of CiMs-CELLEX. I have always been really interested in theoretical physics and I joined the group to complete the Final Bachelor Project and navigate my interests in Quantum Optics. In the fall of 2022, I will join Columbia as a PhD student.
